Returns & Refunds

We want you to love what you receive — but we get that sometimes things happen.

If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, please email us within 7 days of delivery at hello@swoonbookshop.ca. We’ll gladly offer a refund, store credit, or replacement depending on the situation.

All sales are final unless an item is defective or arrives damaged. We don’t currently accept returns or exchanges for change of heart — we hope you understand.

ARE YOUR BOOKS NEW OR USED?
We offer a mix of new, gently used, and remainder books. Each listing will clearly note the condition. We never stock anything we wouldn’t want to read ourselves!
WHAT IS A REMAINDER BOOK?
A remainder book is a brand-new book that publishers sell at a discount when they have extra stock. Sometimes they’ll have a small mark (like a dot or line) on the edge to show it’s a remainder, but inside they’re in perfect condition—no missing pages, no damage, just the same swoony stories you love for a lower price.
WHAT KIND OF ROMANCE DO YOU CARRY?
Spicy, swoony, emotional — we’ve got it all. From small-town charm to grumpy/sunshine slow burns, we curate stories with heart, heat, and happily-ever-afters.

CAN I TRACK MY ORDER?
Absolutely! Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking link by email so you can follow it all the way to your doorstep.
